We believe opportunities for post-secondary education or vocational programs afford all persons a chance for a brighter future. Growing up with a disability is difficult and we believe offering scholarships to students with a disability will help on their journey to adulthood. Scholarship application window for 2026 is now OPEN. Applications are due by April 10, 2026.

Special Strong, Healthy You
We're working to prioritize health and wellness for persons living with a disability and their caregiver. Register for a free monthly modified exercise class at Any Time Fitness, LaPlace. Classes will be held the last Thursday of each month at 3:30 p.m.

Explorer Club
Join us in exploring new places!
Free to join the club with no commitment to travel! Explorers choose which discounted trips they wish to explore!
Travel arrangements to accommodate Explorer special needs.
Families are welcome to arrange travel with their Explorer!
Explorers over the age of 18 are welcome to travel independently or request a shared chaperone if needed!
Advocacy
We're committed to equipping individuals with a disability a means to self-advocate while supporting families to be a voice for that voice may not be loud enough to be heard or understood. Advocacy plays a crucial role in challenging societal norms, pushing for policy changes, and ensuring that all individuals, regardless of their physical or mental capabilities, have equal rights and opportunities.
Special Friends Night
Join us the third Thursday of every month for Special Friends Night at Chick-fil-A LaPlace from 5p-7p! Special Friends Night provides a welcoming environment for all individuals living with a disability to enjoy games, friends, and fun!
